I was at a beer hall in Germany packed to the roof. In addition to the locals, there were also some Japanese and Aussie tourists. The song comes on and the whole place began to sing along. It was a pretty cool experience.

I was in Russia during the World Cup, and there was one night our group was at a restaurant and started chatting with a bunch of bros from Norway at the table over from us. They started singing some Norwegian soccer song, some of the guys I was with responded with an old fraternity song, and then those Vikings started and lead a chorus of Country Roads with all of us.

It was honestly my favorite memory from the trip.
