Also she places dishes in the sink and will keep them there instead of loading them in the perfectly empty dish washer just inches away.

Beach condo we are in this year the French doors in the bedroom keep blowing open and she bitches when walking back from the beach that I or the kids left it open even though she refuses to listen when I tell her she has to push the handle up our it won't set the bolt properly.

She keeps telling me she knows how to close the door and stop treating her like she's an idiot.

It blew open last night during the storm while we were awake and she had closed it earlier and I laid smugly in the bed while she finally had to acknowledge she had no idea how to keep it from blowing open and begged me to tell her how to make it work.

I wish I could upvote this a thousand times. I'm not married, but I can't fricking stand it when people watch non HD channels on a perfectly good HDTV with an HD box. The worst is when they say "I just can't tell the difference"

I have tried to compromise and say let's do 71. Still to cold so I say Eff it and put it on 69. It's a never ending battle. Probably the only thing we consistently argue about.

This! Every freaking time. She wonders why the dishes are never 100% clean when the dishwasher is done.

She doesn't rinse off dishes before putting them in the dishwasher. Also puts dishes covered with crap in the side of the sink without the disposal. Drives me crazy. She now does it on purpose because she knows it annoys me.

I don't get how this can even be much of an argument on her end. If you are cold, you can bundle up to a comfortable temperature. If you are hot, there's really nothing you can do beyond reducing the temperature.

I can maybe see an argument for her during the active portion of the day, but when it comes to sleeping, there is no way to sleep worth a shite when you are hot. Get her a goddamn down feather comforter and there is no argument to be made for why she is too cold when sleeping.

This is easy if your wife doesn't understand technology like mine. I just programmed it to change to what I prefer at certain times and she can't undo it.

Holy shite, I completely forgot about this since all my stations are now in HD (Roku). She would argue that there was no difference, the fight would get really good when I suggest it probably all looks like crap to her since she refuses to wear her glasses. When I would switch it to the HD channel, she would switch back just to be stubborn.

That's just asinine. I never understand why people do stuff like this.

She leaves the lights on in the bathroom.

We have like 20 bulbs in there.

I'm gonna end up driving a friggin' Kia b/c of that crap.

Where to eat. Never fails. "Where do you want to eat?" Her: "I don't care." Me: How about X, Y, or Z." Her: "No, I don't want any of that."

We don't argue much, but the subject of washing a vehicle is a hotly debated topic at my house. My wife seems to think it should take 30 minutes tops to clean the inside & outside of her or any vehicle. It always goes something like this:

Me: I'm going outside to wash your car
Wife: Okay thanks babe
(25 minutes passes by)
Wife: When are you gonna be done?
Me: Not anytime soon
Wife: Why can't you just hose it down with water and be done?
Me: Because that's not how you wash a car
Wife: Works for me
Me: Then why don't you do it?
Wife: Because I don't want to
Me: ARRGGHHHH

I am with her, 75 is good, 69 is too cold. If you are sweating at 75 then take off the damn covers.

Everything. Literally everything.

We can map out big plans easy-peasy, but by God, you let it be something simpler or less important than how to pay for our kids' college and at least a tiny portion of hell is going to break loose.

driving with my SO.

she gets really nervous driving in traffic, which means shes nervous driving all the time because we are in BR. She also cant park her big SUV. Drove a car all her life. She'll see a spot thats too tight to fit into, I'll tell her she won't be able to get in there, she tries anyways, and fails. Every. Damn. Time.

My wife hates when towels, rags are not laid in the "proper direction" in the linen closet. You can wash and fold them all to be damned because you put them away different from the way she believes they should go.

Dishwasher loading is not really an argument, but we tend to pick at each other about it. I ask her to unload it, so everything goes where she wants it to go. And I load it, so it is done the right way.

Places to eat isn't as big as it used to be now that we have kids. She's happy with pretty much anywhere if someone is watching the kids and we actually get to go out just the two of us.

Probably the one I'm on the wrong side of most often is actually doing something she asked me to do. And it is usually something simple that needs fixed at the house, that might take 15-30 minutes. Only problem is she mentions it when I'm in the middle of something else, and with two kids to get ready for bed and all of the usual house chores, I forget it. Only to be reminded of it 3 days later when it still isn't done. Taking the garbage cans to the road is the big one, since I only do that like once a week.
