Gay marriage, I was against it due to the way I was raised, but I support it now.

What matters most in collegiate education. I use to believe that going to a more renowned school, even if it was public, was better.

But now I have come to see that niche schools (like HBCU) can be just as good. What matters is if your happy with your degree, not the difficulty to obtain it.

I used to think highly of preachers/pastors. Now I know they are as full of shite as anyone. I still believe in God though.

Social welfare....I truly now believe it is a form of racism on the side of democrats. Essentially oppression through addiction to social welfare... Just as evil as republicans.
I was far more idealistic as a teen/young adult.

If you are happy with your school has nothing to do with how well it will serve you. You are a simpleton if you believe that.

1)US presidents aren't elected but selected
2)If it has much hype behind it, its not good or there is an underlying motive/agenda(insert trump at the moment)
3)Most of our nation's high profile negative issues aren't new. Some are relapses but most have been going strong since we've become a "united" nation. And they were all building blocks of our nation.
4)POTUS has been a puppet for decades and is not even in the top 5 of our most powerfull citizens anymore
5)Louisiana has culture and sports/outdoors but we are so fricking gullible and ignorant
6)blood family is so overrated

Edit:
7)Religion. How is God's name could I forget that one. Thanks LSU Coyote!

I could go on but i already seem like a rebel grinch. My gripes developed from being abroad

Drugs. Specifically, the war on drugs. They should make them (most of them) legal. Not that I use them. Heroin and meth shouldn't be legal. Who am I to tell an adult what they can and can't put into their bodies? Now, granted, if a woman is found out to be pregnant while using then...well idk, but something would need to be done about it.

The historical event of Jesus' resurrection from the dead.

What convinced me? The Holy Spirit is the true answer, but aided by study of the topic and the seeming impossibility of the alternatives.

Oh and also gun regulation. Used to be against, now for.

I was raised thinking Ron Paul and Libertarians were insane. I now realize how right they are. And that big government is a huge downfall of this great nation.

Abortion

Had no stance on the issue until my children were born. That changed me to a pro life person.
