She looks awkward as hell. The bangs. Plain as can be. Lacks any ounce of sexuality.
I think the term is Basic Bitch

She is with her brand new boyfriend's mom/family and you want her exuding sex?

Every generation has a T Swift. Mine was Madonna or some such I guess. Yours i wouldn't know. Patsy Cline? Don't let it get to you.

I'm not saying it's the case for me, but I think, to some degree, this is a big part of her appeal: the fact that she doesn't look like a used up skank that would be more appropriate for a Valtrex commercial. She has a more traditional appeal. Parents don't feel so bad about their kids listening to her. They're willing to take them to her concert. In the meantime, mom becomes a fan, too.

This is the only issue I have with her.

She is a pretty girl that is not some gorgeous crazy overly sexed knockout, and that is appealing to teens and young women.
This is actually important. It makes her more of a canvas for normal women because she's not too intimidating and has curated her image not to be a diva (which is hard in the space). It's kind of like how the author of Twilight wrote her books with a vapid, blank POV so that women reading could put themselves into the story more easily.

One song, she's wallowing in Junior High level relationship drama. The next, she's wailing and carrying on because some "Chad" player used her as a human flesh-light. The next after that, she's singing about how great it is hooking up with random Chad players at the club. The next after that, she's singing about how great and special it is that Chad uses her as a booty call every now and then.

FYI, years ago I was in a bar in Breckenridge and they played a death metal version of "Blank Page" and honestly it was pretty great

lady Gaga has more talent in one toe than swift has in her entire body Eh. Not really, and I like Lady Gaga.
Gaga is a much more talented vocalist and musician. Swift is a much more talented songwriter. People can be talented in different ways. People like to hate on T-Swift because of her cringey relationship drama and not overly powerful voice. The reality is that writing super catchy songs like she has consistently done for 15 years is extremely difficult. It’s one of those things that looks easy, but isn’t (like standup comedy).
I’m not a fan, but I can recognize the skill it takes to dominate her profession as long as she has. I have been an amateur songwriter and semi-professional musician for about as long as she has been famous. I have never written anything near as catchy as any of her hit songs. It really is not an easy thing to do.

i don’t understand it personally, but it’s kind of hard to argue with it at this point.

Women are easily influenced by fame and are infatuated with celebrities.

Men are tired of ragged out whores, its really simple.
she doesnt try to profit off her vageen. Shes actually got talent and has no disgusting scandals that follow her around.
She sets a good example for teenage girl by being reserved and showing there is value in other things besides your pu$$y.

I mean, she does. It’s a verifiable fact. She has producers and co-writers, of course, but she writes the overwhelming majority of her own music in stark contrast with most other pop singers.

You want your daughters to grow up idolizing that or Lizzo?

She appeals to elementary aged little girls, and for some reason parents go along with it.

I mean truthfully I don’t want my daughter to be in her 30s and still single with a full baseball squad lineup of failed relationships
