Questions:

The one guy who did have the right name and person claimed that the people he originally shot were his boys??? Anyone???

Also, was he part of that video, that was from the day before, where 2 guys get into a huge argument, and even the hosts who were doing the tourney were kind of shocked??

What about a bomb? That’s pretty effective. And as far as knives go yes you aren’t likely to kill 50+ people with a knife but it would the new one on one beef solver if guns were totally removed.

I know that people will use other tools if they had to do so. My point is that guns are incredibly effective and readily available tools. I'm not arguing they should be banned - I'm simply saying it's lazy to defend them by saying a killer will just find something else to use. There are reasonable defenses of the right to bear arms that don't require such a lazy argument.

If we are getting nitpicky, “readily available tools” ?

that’s a gross exaggeration of the ease of legaly obtaining a firearm in this country. We aren’t talking about a hammer or bottle of Mr Clean

As a gun owner, I am all for responsible gun ownership.

As someone that has to wait 5 days to purchase a gun because of a DWI arrest 6 years ago, I don't have a problem with waiting periods. I have never in my life just HAD to have the gun that day.

I am even for having to take a some kind of gun safety, hunters education, etc. As much as we all hate the DMV, the test could be done there.

I am also fine with an owner being a registered gun owner and must keep up with the registration (similar to a driver's license).

I also think you should have to be at least 21 to buy a gun. The government will never do this because of the military. Now, I do believe the parent are legal guardian when the person was under 18 should be able to buy a gun and give it to them as a present.

What I won't agree with is having to register every firearm you buy. I won't agree to ban semi-auto weapons that look scary. I also don't trust the government enough to competently verify, check, screen, etc someone. Similarly to the post someone posted about another government taking 2 years, I believe this would be our government and that is unacceptable.

ETA: A gun isn't as easy to purchase as a "hammer or bottle of Mr Clean" now.

i'm picking up what you're putting down. and as a fellow gun owner, i agree we could absolutely make it more difficult to own a gun legally. i would have no problem with that. but to your point, i'm not giving mine up and i'm not registering guns that were given to me by my grandfathers and great uncle.

So you're ok with putting all that shite on a gun owner but you draw the line at registering guns?

Absolutely not. When people bring up trying to take guns, I normally stop right there because there is no point in arguing with fools.

It's more because it should not matter what type of gun you own. If the government wants to know that I own a gun, sure I am fine with that but it is none of their business what kind or how many I have.

It's standard for Democrats to vote from beyond the grave as well. Nothing new.
