Unacceptable. You should report it to firstworldproblems.

Got you to checkout. Sounds like the logic is working just fine.

I believe that's called "bait-and-switch," and if you think Amazon invented it, I got a bridge to sell you.

Delivery has gotten to be terrible around here.
I can enter separate delivery addresses (old house, new house, mother's house, etc.) just to check delivery dates.
All will have that "Prime" delivery listed, but the delivery dates will vary by 5 days or so.
For example, I can have a set of headphones delivered to me by Saturday at my old house, Thursday of next week at my new house ( 30 miles apart)

Sometimes I think it depends on stock. They will pull from multiple places. That shorter delivery may only have one in stock and you ordered two or more. If you find the link that says something like New (8) from $15:80 it will show you the options of places to buy from. Once I needed 3 things and one as soon as possible. I added to cart one from one place and two from another and I received one item quicker than the other two. I made two separate orders just to confirm the shipping.

Never 2 weeks.

But definitely more lax in terms of delivery windows.

Used to be consistent 2 day delivery option for everything you ordered. Now I might have a large order and 3 different delivery dates from 3-5 days for various items within the order.

I still do prime because I tend to order random things frequently instead of a big batch, so the free shipping is still nice with a decent delivery time.

Amazon sends you shite whenever the frick they want. I cancelled prime.. still use amazon though.

Ordered some golf balls Sunday evening. Expected arrival date was Aug 18-21. They came in today. Shipping was free.

“We are rich as frick with or without your business. You’ll get your package when we say you will and you’ll like it”

That’s their logic.

Prime shipping nowadays is bullshite. Can't you still get most everything on Amazon shipped free without Prime membership? I want to cancel my membership for this reason. It's pointless. I don't use Amazon video or music, only had it for the free 2 day shipping.

Move near a distribution center. When I lived in Seattle I'd get same-day delivery.

Amazon is still better than anywhere else.

I have tried ordering some stuff like some cheap furniture I only needed temporarily and stuff from other places and after giving dates they basically said we just do not know at all when or if we are going to ever ship anything.

So I have had to find something close and just order from Amazon and know I will at least most likely get it in the next decade.

Its impossible to order from a ton of places right now. Seems like those places are blowing it bad.

Yep. Can't beat their shipping time-frame or return policy. The issue now is Chinese knockoffs and fake reviews.

People are too lazy to shop local which is destroying small business and retail. CORRUPT Government and Oligarchs gain 100% control of our lives with this bullshite. Cashless world is coming very soon to add to more loss of individual freedom.
