No I bought it at Walmart lol this is just like an apartment I got so I wouldnt have to drive so far to work while I look for a house to buy. No one comes over. Its just basically a place to sleep. I'm not even sure if I'll stay in the area. I'm not trying to get super invested in it and I see no point in buying and then moving a bunch of sheets, towels, furniture, etc., that the OT deems appropriate just for the hell of it.

I'm stuck here for 6 months, no one else in the complex has had problems that I've talked to so I'm thinking its more about the previous tenant than the area.

I suggest an 18 inch barrel pump action shotgun for home defense. You can load 12 gauge buckshot, birdshot, slugs or whatever other 12 gauge ammo that piques your fancy. If you’re going to carry, I suggest something small and light. Glock 43, Glock 43X (my EDC), S&W Shield are good choices. Load those with hollow points. You don’t want to use FMJs in a carry pistol. They over penetrate and risk harming people behind your target.

No bullshite. My little nephew got a .22 for Christmas last year. It's a gun for youth. It's not as heavy, not as much power, but it's fun to shoot. If you don't want to have something too strong, get one of those. It will still frick someone up if you shoot them close and they cost less than $200.
