Everybody on the planet with my first name & last initial thinks my email address is theirs. I got someone’s closing documents on a nice condo in Sydney, Australia, a bill for swim lessons for a kid in New Zealand, a French Yahoo personals account, grandkid pics...on and on.

I had a similar situation but just one guy. For years I would just delete them. Then one day I received a long e-mail from his mom in England telling him how his dad had become very sick and it wasn't looking good. I had to reply and let her know that he hadn't received the message but could she please tell him to get his shite together and pay attention to the address that he is using.

Yesss! I used to reply to tell people they had the wrong address, but it didn’t seem to help. They’d still keep using my address or sending things to me.
