Some people should NEVER do the self check out at the supermarket...

Yeah sometimes you see some old dude with a full basket struggling his way through and wonder why he chose to do that to himself.

It's like choosing to read a book rather than watch the film adaptation.

Chill out. I was talking about people who don't have a clue. Notice, I said "Some" people.

I love using the self checkout. But I actually know how to use it and can get through it quickly. The worst is when you see only one person in the line with a few items so you get in line, but then it takes them 10 minutes to learn how to work the damn thing.

Have you ever considered offering assistance?

I'm the master at self checkout. I can have a cart full of fruit and other such items and be out quicker than an idiot with a few items that scan.

what store were you at?

If WF or a New Seasons I wouldn't be shocked either. Those stores are full of people who think they are the only ones in the store and don't have much common sense on top of it.
