My property taxes have NEVER dropped

After the GFC and with my entire house ripped up in a remodel (no kitchen or bathroom except in basement), I appealed tax assessment/appraisal. Someone from county actually came and walked through it. Nope. You pay, slave. I think they actually increased it. lol.

We tried appealing our PT in Orleans and even took it to the state. Huge mistake! Errol Williams destroyed us this next year

If I put my house on the market today for what it appraises for it wouldn’t sell.

So their made up number isn’t right.

Maybe they should have to buy it from me for that price if I choose that option.

ol, ok. Cigarettes are almost $10/pack. I’ll just go ask my boss for a raise.

Of all the things inflation and the war with Iran have impacted, you went with cigarettes to support your position that making ends meet is difficult?

Lower property tax bills.

Tax accessors have a habit of "delaying" appraisals whenever there's a housing correction. Happened to me when I lived in Lafayette in 2015 when the local oilfield crashed.
