As for the OP, the wife is deserving of the most shite, but if they guy knew she was married then I don't feel pity for him. Sad that this guy will likely go to jail for a long time because of his cheating count of a wife. He's not free of blame since he killed someone, but it's understandable the rage he must've felt.

It's the woman's fault imo.

It was the wife's fault so he gets to kill the guy?

It is legally two different incidents. The adultery, anger and yelling is all one thing. Once a physical altercation ensued it is another.

If hubby put his hands on Jody first, he will be found guilty. If Jody touched hubby first, hubby walks.

I need more details. I don't understand why the guy she was cheating on is the bad guy to the soilder. She was the one married to him.

Didn't read the story but if it's a typical military Jody situation, there's a pretty good chance they'd crossed paths at some point. He certainly knew she was married at any rate.

But I take your point. Maybe I've never felt true love enough flip out over that kind of betrayal, but I have a hard time believing I'd kill anyone (the whore or the jody) over adultery. I'd tell them both to GTFO. If the dude got his arse up and left, he'd be fine. If he tried to start some shite in my house, that's on him.

if you are going to sleep with another man's wife (in his bed even), you better be ready for some harsh consequences

Darth, can you tell us more about the Front Runnerz?

I don't know a lot about them other than they're a black MC and their members ride sport bikes. They don't have a presence in Alabama and I can't recall ever encountering them out anywhere. I think they're a "mom & pop" club.

As for the subject at hand though, I think whether or not this husband will go down on a murder conviction depends largely on the details of the fight between him and thd dude that was in bed with his wife.

I'm sure she was screaming about he was a murderer and how the adultery was all his fault and she is just a victim in all this

If only husband would have treated her better. Women can give themselves as pass on anything lately.

Maybe it's the prolonged separations or the unique stress that some servicemembers face, but the military, like police officers, seems to have more than it's fair share of shitty marriages.

And military women cheat--a lot.

I hope that everytime that slut has some douche climb on top of her, for the rest of her life, she has flashbacks to the guy she caused to be murdered because she is such a slut.

my buddy learned this the hard way

He married a chick in his unit, then they went back to Iraq, but in separate units this time, and then he was due to either come back home or he could transfer to her unit for another 2 years. So he transferred to her unit and when he got there his officer told him that his wife had fricked pretty much the entire unit.

Or a guy returns from training in Texarkana. Way to make it sound like more than it was.

1. You're assuming the guy banging the wife didn't know the husband and didn't know they were married. This is quite the stretch considering he was IN THEIR HOUSE.

2. You're assuming the husband walked in, started a fight, and then shot the guy.

You have no clue what actually transpired so saying what happened was or wasn't justice is ignorant.

How should he have worded it? He just said he "returned home" which is factually correct. It's not like he said he "returned how from a deployment" or "returned home from war". The guy was out of state on a training mission so the way to describe what he did was to say he "returned home". Hell, even if he'd just run down to the 7-11 for a six pack and some smokes it would still be correct to say he "returned home".
