1. You're assuming the guy banging the wife didn't know the husband and didn't know they were married. This is quite the stretch considering he was IN THEIR HOUSE.
Dont care if he was his very best friend. Killing him is not justice

2. You're assuming the husband walked in, started a fight, and then shot the guy.

You have no clue what actually transpired so saying what happened was or wasn't justice is ignorant.
I am assuming he came in pissed off as shite and started a fight then killed the guy. If somehow it was the cheater that started the fight, and then he killed him out of self defense than of course that changes the story. I am simply responding to the people saying "Justice was served" "Seems fair to me" just because he was sleeping with a married woman. The woman is the only person that broke a vow here

You're responding to them by saying "Justice would be divorce," which isn't true. The fact is you, and no one else in this thread, knows whether justice was served or not.

Making a comment either way is ignorant.

No it isnt. It is ignorant to say it is "justice simply because it is a married woman". It is not ignorant to say "justice for getting cheated on is a divorce" I never once said it isnt justice if it was self defense

True that...I should have said All Ranks Club (for the enlisted) &/or O Club to cover it all. Like shooting fish in a barrel.......or like it was said in Top Gun...."a target rich environment"

Yes, it is.

Here's a novel idea, wait for the actual facts to come out before making a statement one way or the other regarding the husband. Until then, just call the wife a cheating whore and the dude banging her an idiot for sleeping with a married woman in the home she shares with her husband.

yep, and it can get pretty weird, I knew of a couple of F-15 squadrons in Germany where just about all the wives, gfs, would be mated up with the other squadron every time one of them would leave, before they were even out of ab, and after awhile there wasn't even very much discretion about it

There was a carrier that departed Norfolk in the 70's for a 6 mo deployment. Shortly after it got underway, it experienced a failure of one of its boilers and returned to port later that evening. There was a whole lot of domestic violence that night when sailors found their significant others being 'comforted' by shipmates at the clubs. It happened again a year later with another ship and this time the Navy wasted no time putting out 'public service announcements' of the unexpected return of this ship.

ETA: witnessed something similar on a smaller scale in Sao Paolo a few years ago, a co-worker picked a girl in one of our local watering holes, fell in love, began "dating" and were to be married,he left one night to return to the states but the airplane had a mechanical issue and returned to GRU, he goes back to the hotel, gf won't answer the phone, he goes over to the watering hole, and she's in there working the room with another co-worker

You dont get it. I dont have to wait on the facts for this case to say "it isnt justice to kill a man for sleeping with a married woman" That has nothing to do with this specific case. I am only responding to people who say it is justice to kill a man for sleeping with a married woman. Whether or not that happened exactly here is irrelevant, my comments stand alone

Ok. Justice is him divorcing her. The end. That was simple.

Theoretically, the man works, pays his bills, does what he is supposed to do, builds a life for himself and his family and prospers.

Meanwhile, his wife is getting a proper stretching from every swinging Richard walking down the street. The man finds out, divorces her, she gets half of everything he has worked so hard for, and you think that is justice?

Since we don't know all of the facts yet, let's not be so quick to pull out the blamethrower. It is possible justice was served already.

Dont get married. But yes that is justice. When you sign that marriage contract that is what you are signing on for

Once again, I am not making my comment on this specific case. I made a stand alone comment that killing someone because they slept with your wife is not justice. If he killed him out of self defense that has nothing to do with the comment I made
