Luckily, I’m broke AF and my wife is the bread-winner.

They’re from Morocco homie. Probably not celebrating Christmas very much and don’t give an F about w2’s or the IRS. Don’t know much about Moroccan law but my guess is their anti- gold diggin ho’s statues are wayyyyy better than ours.

Yeah if US gift taxes would be due. Hope he filed his returns. Hypothetically.

Read a story a while back where a woman was divorcing a dude from a rich family and was suing for half of his inheritance. His parents were still alive. There's no level these hoes won't stoop to for a buck
Pretend you have limited integrity and no system of honor. Bam, you're a woman.

my ex used to call my mother after my dad died trying to claim she was owed some inheritance

He's a "momma's boy".

It’s an interesting issue. The mom would be considered an “insider” so he might have an immunity workaround for all the transactions that occurred prior to the wife making any claims against him.

Before deploying to Afghanistan in 2010 a young soldier gave his mother a Power of Attorney. I told him there was no need for that he could pay his bills online. SO he gets one anyway.
About a month beofre we come home he comes to me and says he checked his bank account and the 35k he had saved over a year wasnt there, in fact he was overdrawn.
His mother had a video poker problem and cleaned him out. She also sold his truck.....
So with no money, no vehicle guess where he had to live? with Mom.

Eh. Family courts are courts of equity in the U.S. They would find a way around all of this.

Divorcing spouses in Louisiana have an obligation under the Civil Code to account to one another for community property. They also owe a duty to preserve and prudently manage former community property in their control pending its division and distribution.
Hiding assets in divorce runs afoul of these obligations, making the wrongdoer spouse legally liable to the other for damages. It may also constitute a crime under Louisiana law. It could even be wire fraud under federal law.

Its okay, feminism has put into people's heads that they make money by playing for their country. They dont. hakimi makes like 200k a week at psg.
