Soccer Hooligans?

I haven’t seen any.
I don’t keep up with soccer in any way. So my questions are:
1. Do hooligans only show up for their league games? Like some London team vs a Birmingham team? Not World Cup?
2. Or are they avoiding arrest here in the US because we have better able-bodied LEO?
3. Or have I just missed the brawls because I don’t watch much tv?

Actual hooligans likely can't afford the plane tickets

I think the hooligans are their version of culcha. I've met a number of folks visiting Houston for the games and they've all been very friendly.

That was more of a thing during a different time.
Lats time I saw some brawls was England and Russia fans in Russia.
I think possibly a fight broke out in the Canada/Qatar game because of the leg breaking tackle. But fights break out at football games all across the US. Fights also break out at little league games all across the US.

There are a ton of fans from overseas here in Dallas right now. A lot of watch parties and folks walking around shopping. Mostly acting civilized

It's something that has been fading from the game. A big crackdown started in the 90s when you had some serious events happen in stadiums. Now with facial recognition technology teams, stadiums can and will ban people for life if they are doing dumb shite.

Normal people can’t afford these World Cup tickets, and you think Hooligans are going to show up?

You think thug Knicks fans would be out fighting at the Olympics?
The poor soccer hooligans aren't here.

If a foreigner heard you ask that question, they would have laughed at you for believing that to be some constant thing at soccer games

The last hooligan activity I recall seeing at a high profile international event (World Cup or Euro) was Euro 2016 or the 2018 Russian World Cup. And the 2018 World Cup was really just Russian hooligans attacking confused British non-hooligans because the Russians thought this would be the way to show the Brits they were the top dogs.
Travel is just too expensive for these large international events.
Qatar, South Korea, Japan, South Africa, the US.
All very expensive to travel to and places with no hooligan culture.

This is the United States. It's different. What the euros consider hooligans are the equivalent of kids we picked on in school.

One time I read about how when the hooliganism was at its peak in the UK they would force people that were convicted of stuff in the past to report to a local facility and stay there during the matches. Like some places here do with sex offenders during Halloween.

bad93ex nailed it. Hooligans cannot actually afford the flight and vacation.
Further, just saw a video that the UK GDP is poorer than every state in the US. That soicalism is making them poor!!

I started a Netflix doc about Brazilian amateur soccer leagues and they seemed to have a lot of hooligans at their games. I only made it through a couple minutes.

Consider the possibility that the would-be hooligans have seen some of the facets of American Cultcha and do not want to chance landing in jail with Dartavious and dudes with numbers and apostrophes in their names

No self respecting Arsenal fan would do hooligan stuff. That's reserved for fans of Liverpool or Sheffield and Leeds primarily
