What? October is a garbage month with the exception of Halloween, and that's the last day of the month.

You’ve got the harvest, football, leaves changing, cool weather, nice golfing weather, and it’s pumpkin spice season, son. The only thing you can’t do is swim.

No can do, I’ll cut out as much as I can but we’ve got a winery trip planned and Halloween parties to attend.

Sober October

Sober life for me. I quit drinking 7 years ago and haven't looked back. I initially quit for health reasons but I felt so much better mentally and physically I decided to just keep it up. My health is normal now and I have no desire to ever go back. I 100 percent suggest you try it for a month.

When everyone else is getting wasted think about how shitty they will feel tomorrow and how great you will feel. You will actually get things accomplished. It's ok to even feel like you are "better"or "superior" to them.

To be clear it does not make you a better person and I have no problem with people who drink (the vast majority of my friends and family), but it just helps me a little bit to think that way ...

My problem is I never get hungover, and when I do it is from like a three day bender. Like it’s been well over a decade since I’ve been hungover from a single night of drinking.

That's because your liver has been conditioned to process alcohol before it does normal liver stuff

My response during my drinking days would have been that you simply aren't drinking enough...

For me it got worse with age. The older I got the more I had to drink to feel the effects. My hangovers were never that bad though. I never got sick to my stomach or had headaches. I just felt tired and had no energy. I got really fricking tired of feeling that way...

Gonna follow that up with No Nut November? All your vices gone in 2 months.

So what's the play here? Fap vigorously all October and then get slammed all November?

I’ve been on TD for almost a decade and a half, and I don’t know if I’ve ever read something on here that I disagreed with more. I’m honestly stunned

Exactly.
