Transportation and transit are the lifeblood of our city. 3 inches of snow have crippled #NYC and this is unacceptable. Moms are stranded with their kids, people are running out of gas. This is unacceptable & we demand answers.

That’s fair. I laugh at New Yorkers who laugh at Southerners for thinking “You all” is better than saying “y’all.”

I mean..... “y’all” is one syllable and “you all” is 2. Work smarter, not harder you silly northerners.

I don't get it. What are you trying to say? These same conditions in south Louisiana would have everything you highlighted quadrupled.

Every New Yorker acts like they all know how to drive in the snow, whereas everyone in the South has no clue how to drive in even the slightest snow.
The answer lies in how the cites can maintain roads in the snow, so actually northerners really don't know how to drive in the snow any better than southerners, they just have a better snow preparedness infrastructure.
But, apparently, this infrastructure was unprepared today.

As someone originally from upstate NY, the people from NYC dont know how to drive in snow.

They are called citiots for a reason.
There are ski areas out in the country that have their own tow trucks to pull these jackasses out of ditches when they drive their cars into ditches.

I hear ya, but in BR, we can't drive in 80 degree weather when it starts to sprinkle. Just sayin

Beyond that, those supposed snow drivers cant drive for shite in rain or anything else for that matter. Personal anecdote, last time I was driving in snow in Denver(granted it was a lite snow) I was passing locals on the Interstate and I was only doing about 55. Driving from Colorado Springs to Denver in the summer with a mild to moderate rain fall those guys were doing 25 on the interstate. Took me 10 miles to get pass that BS to open road so I could do the normal 70 rain speed.

I thought the snow crews there were use to this? I'm in Va and we do better than this.

Exactly. We shouldn't see anyone in Louisiana brag about driving on ice, in snow, in rain, or as you say, in perfect weather.

Agree here in Va we are probably like you guys. 3 inches closes schools because what do they go by? Back roads.
