i haven't had any otherwise healthy friends catch a heart attack and die from one visit to Popeyes, but i do know of an otherwise healthy person catching Covid at a party and dying.

i don't want to die, so i do what i can to avoid dying. some of the things i do are: stay away from people mostly, wear a mask, wash my hands. no one thing is the "cure" but common sense says each may help.

Do you do all of this during Flu and Pneumonia season every year as well?

Healthy people have died of COVID. The percentages say it is extremely rare though. I had a friend die from a car accident. I still drive my car.

Just two more weeks to flatten the curve.

Didn't you hear?? We're two weeks out from a big outbreak because of\ the "Super Bowl Party Super Spreader Events". Unfortunately, after Valentine's Day, we'll again be two weeks away from another outbreak. Covid can be truly dangerous, especially for certain groups of people, but it's sad how the fear mongerers always have us two weeks out from another big outbreak.

Tampa fans recklessly super spreading is the least of our worries. Noted scientist and physician Bill gates says there are new COVID mutations coming so there is no need for local politicians to ever give up these despotic, freedom crushing powers.

I’m not sure any of the preventive measures outside of vaccines make a difference on that macro scale. Pandemics occur in waves and this one had been no exception. The most restrictive states haven’t seen a difference in cases per capita compared to the least restrictive states.

The recent preventive measures were all in place for several months prior to recent surge in Nov/Dec. Like you said, it hit those with severe lockdowns as hard as those that were not as restrictive.

The only real parameters that have changed are treatment options and the implementation of the vaccine.

What about all those other societal interactions that “healthy person” had?

Why are you counting the accumulation of exposure to unhealthy things for heart attacks but not covid?

What proof do you have the “healthy person” caught covid at a party?

Do you know anyone that’s ever been seriously injured or killed in a motor vehicle accident?

So this person probably knew the risks but decided to go to a party any way. That smells like Freedom to me.

You really need to ask yourself why you feel the need to troll a college football msg board “calling people out” stalking people and trying to sound tough.

And covid is real.

Hospitalizations dropped another 50 since yesterday.

Just to state again how much they are plummeting,
1/15 - 2000+
2/10 - 1000+

In less than 1 month, we have 1000 less hospitalizations state wide. In addition all regions are showing cases trending down with 8 of the 9 regions failing significantly. SW region is only region that is merely trending down and not falling off a cliff like the others.
