As said he’d be out by now anymore. It appears he was sober and on a straight section of road with no excuse. He paid a fine and he has to live with killing someone. Certainly some jail time seems worthy but what’s it really going to do?

Yeah, at 17 years old she ran that stop sign and then waterboarded him.

People have been asking that question for a very long time. I do think it’s funny how it’s one of those stories that constantly gets brought up. “Remember when Matthew Broderick killed somebody?”

The first thing you listed.

On the morning of March 14, 2009, Stallworth struck and killed a pedestrian while driving his car at the eastern end of the MacArthur Causeway in Miami Beach, Florida.
Around 7:15 a.m., Stallworth was headed toward the beach, driving a black 2005 Bentley Continental GT about 50 mph in a 40 mph zone, according to a Miami Beach Police report.[24] Mario Reyes, 59, was on the busy causeway, trying to catch a bus home after finishing his shift.[25] Stallworth claims that he flashed his car's headlights to warn Reyes.[26] Stallworth struck Reyes with his car, killing him.
In a police investigation, Stallworth admitted to drinking the night before the accident. News sources reported that his blood alcohol content was 0.12, over the legal limit of 0.08.[27][28]
On April 1, 2009, Stallworth was charged with DUI manslaughter; he surrendered to police on April 2, 2009, and was released on $200,000 bail.[29] Under a plea deal, he received a sentence of 30 days in the county jail, plus 1,000 hours of community service, two years of community control, and eight years' probation.[30] His Florida state driver's license was permanently suspended.[31] On July 10, 2009, Stallworth was released from county jail after serving 24 days of a 30-day sentence.
24 days? That's it. And he was actually found to be under the influence..

I think a judge would realize he is married to Sarah Jessica Parker and realize he has probably suffered enough.

I'll say on that one at least we know the guy was running across the road when it happened.

I know 6 people that were killed by drunk drivers
Less than 6 months jail time in each case

If he was sober, why would he be in jail? Chances are he passed out due to an underlying medical issue.

If you read the actual case, that guy was going to die regardless. He ran across a 5 lane highway in full use.
Not endorsing drinking and driving, just common sense.

A friend of mine in high school got in a wreck that killed another friend in the passenger seat. He was going 60mph in a 30. He spent 31 days in jail for it.
