They are building one In Chesterfield(in Valley), about 30mins from me, and it looks to be bigger(wider), than most of the others they have built in other Cities. Do they have waiting lists to get a spot?

So what exactly is it(seen pics). Is it just playing games with golf clubs, or are there adult video games, etc? Is there a waiting time? I expect this place to be fully packed on weekends in the area it's located.

It looks like it's a Golf version of Comsic Bowling.

That's kind of what it is but there is some really cool technology behind it.

its a great way to chill out, drink beer, listen to music and shank some balls

It's a high end bowling alley where the bowling is more like golf.

It combines many elements of a bar/restaurant with a fun game that appeals to all skill levels. The food is legit, there are TV's to watch games, it's nice enough where your girl will want to go and not just agree to be dragged along. It really does appeal to almost everyone, which is kind of unique.

Its a driving range with several options of games that allow people of any skill level have a good time. Your bay has couches and a table. They serve good food and drinks. Yes, there will likely be a pretty significant wait time on the weekends.

I'm far less enthused about TopGolf than I was a few years ago, but nonetheless, it's a fun thing to do while drinking for adults.

In a world where most stare at the TV or computer or their phone screen for half the day, people crave casual entertainment beyond watching TV or movies or going to bars. In particular, I think people (even lazy people) want to do something at least mildly physical for fun, whether that is bowling, TopGolf, playing shuffleboard at the bar, whatever. People just want something to do, frankly. So TopGolf is a good exploitation of that need.

It's fun to do once. I've noticed it attracts a good bit of trash though. Like people who live to go get blackout at top golf on the weekends.

It works well because you don't have to be good. There are plenty of games that make skill a non-factor for the most part, so everyone can have fun doing it. Every time I've been, it seems like easily 75% of the people there had never swung a golf club before, but they all have a good time.

It's kind of like bitcoin. It's appealing to the owners until they buy into it.
