I've always enjoyed it but it gets expensive quick, realized that last time with 4 people people. Between 5 games, several drinks, and a meal I paid like 80 bucks

Decent food and beer selection for an after work outing or something like that. And apparently you can hit golf balls at flashy lights too. Honestly, it's a neat place, but I usually just sit back and drink and hang out. And I like golf....I just can't be asked to out my beer down for that long.

I don't know anything about what top golf is but the one they are building in Huntsville Al will employ 350 people.

We have 2 in Atlanta. If you love golf and drinking it’s the best way to do both without having to go to a golf course. And your friends (especially females) will actually go because it’s fun for people that suck at golf too. Everyone can have fun.

But how long were you entertained? If you were there for 3 hours that’s a pretty decent afternoon of entertainment.

Having no clue how it works, what are the games? And what sort of games are there for people who have never touched a club before? Seems like you'd have to have some baseline, like making reasonable contact in some general direction, to make it any fun at all.

Went to the one in Dallas with SO's son. All the holes are somewhat funneled so even bad hits have a way of going in. We played a game hitting 5 balls at each hole for highest score. I was behind until the very last farthest hole, where I drained 4 of the 5 shots. Watching her son's expression change as he was looking at the automatic scoreboard was great since I was last up. Great way to kill a few hours. What I don't get are the people who drag their own clubs in.

It is just a place a little more grown up than putt putt where you can take a date and get laid later. Not for real golfers
