I'm glad this guy confessed before I had to explain to my parents that I may be the source of any "unidentified" male DNA in the basement carpet.

retirement home in Florida.
Weird story, but it's nothing compared to what they'll encounter in Florida.

I got a weird uncle like that. 59 and never moved out.
Very odd guy. Just him and my grandpa. My grandma died so gramps is selling the farm and moving to suburban San Antonio, my uncle hasn't interacted with public since the 80's. This will be odd. I asked if I could hide cameras all over to film, because it's going to be like the Truman show.
He is insane too, like looney toons. Believes he is Spring Hilled Jack and doesn't leave the house because the Federalis are killing for him.

Trashy people live in Elgin. FACT.
And they haven't identified the remains yet of the body found in the Lincoln Park lagoon.
So go frick yourself.

I came away reading the OP wondering how someone could dismember their mom after listening to Cheeseburger in Paradise. Alas, it was JIMI

On the lighter side:
Prior to moving my mom and dad had a debate on whether or not to take the basement sound system with them and try to re-install it in Florida (the speakers were wired into the walls of the basement). Dad wanted to take it, Mom wanted to leave it in IL. Mom won.
How is that the lighter side
Your mom basically killed that lady.

Or really likes Zeppelin. I love all of the mentioned artists though, and can't forget to add in the Lizard King while we're at it.
