This was at the official gear stores right outside the dome. I was flabbergasted and literally laughed aloud. We have gone full retard.

What do you think the right amount on a $50 gotten tshirt would be?

While I agree it's ridiculous, they wouldn't do it if people pushed back and rejected the tip.

Meh, people are willing to pay it so why wouldn’t they try to get extra money out of people.

You don’t have to feel bad for hitting the “no tip” button. Even if they look at you funny for doing it.

Went through a drive through the other day to get coffee and they usually hand you the little credit card thing to enter a tip if you choose. Now they just take your card and ask you if you want to leave a tip.

They’ll be at Academy in a week for $15. Will still click ‘no tip’ on the selection keypad.

It’s the banks and the manufacturers of the device they get a percentage of each sale so naturally they want as much as possible, including tips.

I bought a bag of skittles at the concession stand for my kid at a triple A baseball game. It popped up on the screen for me to leave a 15% tip. I had to change it to zero.

American tipping culture is dumb.
