It's kind of like the Baton Rouge serial killer situation. Everyone thought it was a white man in a white truck. But it ended up being a black man who I think, didn't even drive a white truck.
Has anyone considered the fact that maybe the police put the wrong information out there in order to make the people who actually did it, feel confident about getting away with it, hoping they will slip up? It wouldn't be the first time police used that technic.

I called this shite the day it happened....and was tempted to make this exact prediction on TD.

By multiple suspects, who said they saw him in a red Chevy pickup. How did multiple suspects see the perp thaaat clearly during a drive bye???? I dunno me, if I ever found myself in a drive bye situation I’m not studying who’s firing live rounds at me
So a white man was riding around in one of the most ghetto parts of Houston and decides to randomly open fire on some unsuspecting innocent black family in a very public and open Walmart parking lot ......because why? He’s racist. Ummm right.
Then had rappers and celebrity athletes making statements and showing up to rallies and when asked to comment all eluding to something along the lines of: we got to stop them, we can’t let them do this, how can we stand for this, etc

They may have seen a white guy in the area, but they lied about a lot of the details about him. For noble reasons, I'm sure.

Who cares what color the shooter was? A 7 year old was killed. People are going to make it a racial thing, but if you take on that same mindset then you took the bait. You get emotionally invested into the story for the wrong reasons which means you pay attention to it more, you read articles about it, etc.. And the more people that is drawn to the story, the of a story it becomes.

The cripple again can’t see the forrest thru the trees. It would never be more than a paragraph long article in the Crime section of The Houston Chronicle if isn’t wasn’t for the multiple witnesses confidently reporting it was a white man

I'm not convinced they intentionally lied about the shooter being white. I think they saw a white guy flee and assumed/wanted it to be him. The lies came after that, IMO.
