I'd take her wearing a wig and cross-eyed over the one on the end.

Yeah, there have been a few major extinction events since life first arose on earth I think.

It'd be interesting to look ahead a few tens or hundreds of millions of years and see what the life on earth looks like - either with us still around or without us.

The last one of these cats documented in Mississippi was in the early 1960's according to MSWF&G. Almost every thing spotted since then was either a black dog, a black house cat, a gray house cat, a yellow house cat, an otter, or somebody's escaped pet.

Human-induced extinction because of ignorant ideas about predators is not the same as the dinosaurs going extinct.

Fact:

Dinosaurs are the only other species to go extinct

Here is some crazy shite:

There was a huge gap between Dinos and people

And species went extinct then, too.

When one species of predator flourishes, it often causes the extinction of several species until equilibrium is achieved. It's basic Darwinism.

The problem is that cougars dna is 99.999% identical to other cougars but some dipshit scientist decided they should be different species.

You share 99% of DNA with a chimp.

Tell me something I don't know.

But acting like the deliberable annihilation of a species is the same as every other species is asinine, even when compared to other species that were driven extinct by humans. The passenger pigeon, dodo, Carolina parakeet were all driven to extinction by man, but we hunted the hell out of them for food and other utilitarian purposes.

We drove the eastern cougar into extinction simply because we didn't like him and wanted him off the landscape, similar to what we tried (and failed) to do to gray and red wolves, foxes, coyotes, and bobcats.

Keystone Species

Removal of predators is a bad idea. This is just one example.

Ole baw driving through Southwest Virginia in about 2005 swore up and down he saw one. I believe it because he's not the type to make it up and he was really shook up talking about it.

Men are a part of nature, true story.

Do you get this upset when, say, lions drive a species to extinction?

Do you get mad at all extinction events of organics? Should we fight to save Polio?
