Declared extinct by scientists. Hasn't been seen in 80 years.

But I think that is a win. One less predator to worry about, really.

The problem is that cougars dna is 99.999% identical to other cougars but some dipshit scientist decided they should be different species.

The environmentalists lose their minds because one particular species may be gone. But there are dozens of species of mountains lions/cougars.

People need to be reminded that 99% of all species that have ever lived on Earth are extinct.

Who gives a shite. It’s not like we didn’t do it. I’m not about to feel bad because some idiots eradicated an entire population of majestic creatures.

Why?

If all the cotton mouth snakes died tomorrow, that would be a win, too

Species go extinct all the time. We will go extinct eventually, as well.
