Somebody please educate me on why industrial meat and dairy production is suddenly a bad thing.

Well, industrial farm raised meat is a pretty grotesque, unsanitary, and in many cases cruel.

That said, most of my meat comes from animals I harvested myself, but I'm not going to turn my nose up to a good steak, no matter where it came from.

Met a mom in my child's class the other day that informed me her 6 year old was a vegan. I started laughing in her face hysterically.

Is that bad?

A surprisingly small percentage of the global population can actually digest that lactose as adults.

40% of people can digest lactose, including almost all people of northern European descent.

It's not my fault if your genetics are less robust.

Drink it in moderation. Its only hard to digest if you drink a quart of whole milk with your stack of fat cakes and syrup.

.....damn that sounds good

A lot of natural health research has shown dairy is inflammatory to most people. Humans are the only species that drinks the milk of another animal, usually reserved for nursing babies.

And to whoever said one day they will make milk out of hemp apparently hasn't been to Whole Foods. They already do.

But everyone has a choice and should let everyone else make their own choice. I discovered I am allergic to kale. Who knew!

The part of milk that is bad for you is the lactose (sugar). Heavy cream and butter are usually still OK for almost anyone. And they are very good for you.
