Line your front yard with bear traps...that's the only answer.

Basic Steps to CareFrontation

-Make the CareFrontation Process an operating agreement.
-Ask for permission to CareFront or deliver feedback.
-Point out the observable facts.
-Inquire into the meaning of the behavior.
-If the behavior impacted you adversely, share how it affected you.
-Make a request or ask a question.

My next door neighbor is an old man who lets his dog exclusively out front despite having a sizable back yard...it’s a big dog and it shits in everyone on our block’s front yard. I stepped in it one morning on my way to work. I told his daughter the issue and she said he’s just old and she would talk to him about it. Nothing has changed. Don’t want to start shite because they have some very shady people who come to ‘visit’ from time to time.

Definitely talk to your neighbor about it, but be sure to use the word "poo-poo" every time you mention the dog shite. That will keep the mood lite, and make it more likely to work out in your favor.

If you're friendly with them it's no big deal to speak with them about it.

"Hey man we have been having a bunch of dog shite on our lawn the past few weeks, and I noticed on our camera that little rocky was contributing a few piles. I hate to even ask this, but could you help me out and pick up his shite if he decides to go to brown town on my yard again? Thank, man."

Just go to the neighbor and tell him. Be nice about it. Just say, "Hey, you may not be aware, but your dog got loose and took a dump in my yard."

Tell him you took care of it this time, but ask him to please keep a closer eye on his dog.

No need to make any kind of big deal about it.

Just call the police and they'll come over there and shoot the dog for you.

Next time you see your neighbor outside, just tell him in a nice way that while you appreciate the free fertilizer, you have to wonder why his dog isn't fertilizer his own yard.

I know a guy that had the same problem. He stuffed a few Vicodin pills in some ground meat and left it in his yard. Soon afterward the dog problem went away.

Just go talk to him. I'm sure he'll understand if y'all have been friendly in the past. Don't start by being accusatory and shoving a finger in his face and I'm sure it'll be fine.

My dog walks to the neighbors to drop a load everyday. I usually walk over with a shovel and go walk through their yard and pick up every few days.

I had this issue once. The dog that kept shitting in my yard was from about 10 houses down the road, but always came to my yard to shite, like every other dog in the neighborhood b/c of my two dogs most likely.

Anyways, i politely brought it up to the neighbor, that i did not know, that i've seen there dog shite in my yard multiple times and i'd appreciate if they watched their dog more closely when letting it out. They were nice about it and I went home.
a week later the dog is still shitting in my yard. I started taking the shite and dropping it off at their front door. Did that 3 times, then their was no more dog shite in my yard.

This is perfectly acceptable. Maybe along with a clip of the incriminating video to his email.

Enjoy your luxurious green grass this summer and be thankful he doesn't bill you for the fertilizer.

A paint ball gun with frozen paint balls will do the trick. Wont kill the dog but it will hurt for a while.

Put some peanut butter in a ziplock bag with one of the bottom corners snipped off. Squeeze the peanut butter onto any piles you find.

You are a trashy dog owner if you let your dog out to shite in someone else's yard.

When I lived in Tyler, I had a guy come every day, walking his dog, so it could shite in my front yard (where my kids played).

I stopped him one day and explained that if I wanted dog shite in my front yard, I would not have my own dog in the fenced backyard.

I also told him that it wouldn't be a big deal except my kids liked to play in the front yard.

He stopped.
