Was at a hospital when they had a code silver which is code for active shooter. fricking had to hide in one of the bathrooms with a few nurses. 
Pretty intense 10 or so minutes especially when the janitor I guess didn't know what was going on and decided to walk around the ER during the lockdown.
Turned out someone fricked up and hit the button to send out the lockdown

We are already there. All cars being produced by Tesla have self driving technology in them. But you are looking at paying no less than about $70k.
Like all new technology, the price will eventually go down. 10 years from now, I wouldn't be surprised if most vehicles on the road will be self driving (or have the ability to be self driving).
I know a lot of people hate driving, but i'd rather drive than be a passenger because I am in control of it all, but I am sure self driving will reduce the number of people killed in automobile accidents. I wonder if self driving vehicles will eventually eliminate DWIs, etc? Just a thought.
Either way, it will altar society... Not sure if it is going to grind to a halt.
