So I have a new boss.

The guy has been giving me jobs that I could finish very quickly, but he's telling me that it should take a while to complete these tasks. He told me not to rush, but I'm not rushing and I'm still finishing my stuff pretty damn quick. When I do finish he usually gives me meaningless work. Should I just drag arse all day or finish it and do meaningless work all day?

does he have to know when you finish the work, is it computer based where he can look on his own and track your progress?
