Shooting fireworks at 4th of July and New Year's Eve isn't trashy. Saving and shooting them at odd times of the year is trashy.

Not sure about trashy, but the type of fireworks you can buy in 2019 to blow up in a neighborhood make anyone that does it in their driveway an inconsiderate as frick. Not only does it sound like you're on the battlefield, but the debris goes everywhere. And since these aren't the typical bottle rockets and black cat fireworks from days gone by, you'll be picking up what looks like AAA battery sized plastic casings ripped into shards all over your yard even if you didn't blow up any fireworks.

But it's like anything else really...if you consider yourself and your entertainment more important than everyone around you, feel free to be that guy.

It's not so bad anymore, but about a decade or so ago in my neighborhood it was like Beirut...not only was it so loud that it made it actually difficult to even hear your own TV in your house, but you could smell the gunpowder floating through the neighborhood! And of course, the trash which inevitably no one bothered to pick up and then drifted everywhere like the zombie apocalypse the next morning.

I was tempted to just picking some random night in February to go out and start pounding a bass drum and tossing trash in random yards...

Exactly what would you RA him for?

You've posted on here that you abuse both alcohol and drugs. You've said those substances are the only way you can make it through most days.

You've even said in one of your fireworks threads today that you get drunk to shoot off your fireworks.

So a poster saying it's not a good idea for you to be around fireworks with children is good advice and not something that deserves RA'ing.

Spending more than $100 on fireworks is a waste of $$$
