Yeah right.
Next thing you are going to tell me is Facebook tracks every website I visit by using embedded images.

Many stores are now automatically signing you into their wifi due to your carrier. This allows them lots of access (and under new FISA) some FED access. It is a privacy intrusion disguised as free WiFi/off loading.
ATT passpoint grabs by default. You can’t unjoin only can turn off wifi. Home Depot also does this.
Xfinity is bad as well.

This
It isn’t just what you buy
It’s where you spend most of the time in the store. Correlates with purchase history. Gos tracking correlates with an item layout they have of the store.
Knows what you’ve bought. What you didn’t buy.
They sell this data.
Try it.
Hover around the tampon aisle in Walmart or target and you will in a few days see ads on websites for these items.
The amount of data collected and compiled today is really something our mind can’t comprehend.

Ah, yes, credit card on the online account. Okay, makes sense now I guess.
Send your wife with your credit card and let us know what happens

Wait til you realize they are tracking your every movement in the store.
Which aisles you go to first. What products you stop in front of. The speed you walk. The route you take.
Can't wait for the emails that remind me about that item I picked up and put back on the shelf letting me know it's still available and ready for me to purchase with this simple click of a button

I sort of get this now with online item I view, but don't purchase. See it with Walmart, Sams, Amazon, etc.

" My rates are going up b/c I drink beer?"
" No, your rates are going up b/c you drink shitty beer."

I couldn't care less what info they have about me. Until my life is somehow affected by it then i don't give a shite. I hear people complain about how their personal data is being leaked on all these different media platforms all the time. There is not piece of info about me that i put out there that can be used in a harmful way against me other than my CC info which i can dispute and cancel my card and be reimbursed for

All these companies have been using the Casino's blueprint. Quite fascinating.
Can they start bringing shoplifters into the back and smashing their hand with a hammer like in the movie?

So, I ran to Walmart for a few items yesterday morning.
How many pairs of rustler jeans did you buy?

Amazing people are so proud of their ignorance.
Just because you aren't paying attention doesn't mean it isn't happening. Here are two examples from recent memory.

Well, that's certainly an opinion.
Everything from hospitals, banks, internet/cell providers, and government institutions have been hacked which has given up practically everything they know about the people they deal with. It 100% impacts you whether you know it now or not. Maybe you won't have anything negative come of it, but that is more a luck thing that anything else.

so, the credit card not only gets the total spent but also an itemized list of what he bought at the store? T
Then shares that data with his Walmart + app?
I guess that is how the banking cards know we are buying guns and ammo at bassPro and not a pellet grill?

Home Depot does that too. Probably credit card.

Wait until you wake up one day and some person from a foreign country is literally on your computer in front of you with access to your camera and everything personal about you. Enough access to cause you hundreds of hours to get your credit corrected or even found the one thing you don’t want anybody to know and holds it over your head for ransom.
