I'm with you. Current estimates say by April enough doses will be available to cover all high risk groups.

If that's the case, shortly thereafter we should move on. If you're high risk and don't get it, not my problem.

So, everyone thinks that a vaccine, unlike any before it in history, with less than 6 months of vetting, which has not even been taken by the CEO of the company that developed it that will be tied to a government bribe for the public to take it is a good look? Nevermind we will be printing trillions of more dollars that we don't have.

"Hey, we need you to take this vaccine. Of course it is safe. No, that is the truth. Don't believe us? We will send you $1,500 if you just take it. Come on....you know you need the money."

I'm not even on the side that the vaccine is unsafe, but tying it to government payments for taking it is an idiotic idea.

So, the vaccine is more like a treatment than an actual vaccine? Isn't the main purpose of a vaccine to help establish herd immunity? Merely reducing symptoms and maintaining restrictions to prevent transmission doesn't seem to be a super efficacious way to reach herd immunity.

And printing more money to make those payments is the worst part. Just like the first round of payments, people will think they are getting "free money". Most have no clue that, in the long run, they will pay out of the arse for that vaccine. But....money press goes brrrrt...

Good news is with infections continuing on it will require less and less vaccinations to get to herd immunity in 2021.

You eventually reach a point where individual decision making stops mattering.

But how? They still don't know (or haven't told us) if it is contact, droplet, aerosol, etc.. They still flip flop on wipe down/disinfect surfaces or that it dies on surfaces so fast not to bother wiping. They haven't said if it is caught through nasal, lung, throat tissues, or through skin contact, wet or dry. They haven't ruled out ingestion which would involve oral, mucal, or gastro infection routes.

So the real question remains: How is it spread?
