but with today's technology I can't unless it decides it wants to let me.

You can still buy a record player, 8TRACK, and cassette player today. 50 years later we still cant put a man on the moon.

The ["Moon"] lander "caught a foot in the surface and tipped" and landed on its side, and, quite possibly, is leaning against a rock. He said the lander had come in too fast and may have snapped a leg.

Nobody could have seen this coming. :-(

[quote]he MOON CAR. So we are to believe 2 astronauts pulled a magic string (bubba wallace, avert your eyes) and out popped a PERFECTLY working vehicle..again..the first time..why it was a miracle! The fuel; batteries or whatever..just flawlessly worked in -50 degree temps i or whatever the climate was like.

This is why. Men can do anything when trying to pick up women

The moon landing is real believers are taking a beating in this thread.

The new 2024 moon mission gotcha isn't going the way they thought it was going to.

Interesting take. In what sense?

But we decide which is right.

So we got perfect video 50 years ago but nothing today.
You're comparing physical film carried back vs telemetry video.

we are also comparing a brand new 2024 designed spaceship with 1,000,000,000x the computing power we had in the 1960s and it's ability to land right side up like we did flawlessly 6x in a row in the 60s.

"Believe our government"

"There were less rocks and things on the moon 50 years ago to cause landing problems.".

oh yeah. They could just look out one of the 27 panoramic windows or glass bottom on the lander to see if there were any half buried rocks in the way.

Liberator once claimed that the star forts on the gulf coast couldn’t have been built as history books claim because it was too many bricks or some shite.

Yep. The guy doesn’t think bricks could be transported by boat from Maine to Florida in the 19th century
