The snake is an Eastern Diamondback Rattlesnake, according to FWC.
Cory Ball, who snapped the pictures of the reptile, says he was driving when he spotted it. Ball says he was able to get close enough to the snake to take the photos and it wasn’t aggressive towards him.
quote:
Ball says the snake slithered away safely into the grass.
The Eastern Diamondback Rattlesnake is native to Florida and the best thing to do when one is spotted is to give it space and let it leave the area, according to FWC.

That's a pretty big Eastern.

Well that Florida baw is nicer than me because I would've removed that snake's head from his body

I didn’t know Eastern Diamondbacks could grow to the size of Hunter Biden’s dick

All snakes over a certain size should die IMO.

They get enormous in the AL mountains. As scary as a grizzly if you stumble onto one close enough to hear the rattle.

Incorrect.
This is the correct answer.

I'll kill a venomous snake if I see it in my yard but I leave the rest alone.
I grew up around snakes and they don't bother me that much.

My dad, for whatever reason, always used a shovel to kill venomous snakes near the house. But he wouldn't cut the head clean off with the sharp edge. He'd pop the poor bastards with the flat side until birdies were spinning around their head like a Tweety cartoon

That is a big girl.
