I'd love to see how this trial plays out in court. I wonder if it will be made available to the public.

I think that's why the NOPD brass called in Brees to lead this thing and make sure the evidence is gathered properly and accurately.

If the NOPD had this evidence why would they arrest Hayes to begin with

Because he was illegally possessing a firearm.

Haven't read thought the whole thing, but how can anyone defend Hayes?

He obviously smashed the Mercedes intentionally, even if Will hit and ran (which it looks like he did) you don't go off and smash their car. So no way insurance would pay out then. He hit the Mercedes with with enough force that the back window shattered and it hit the car in front of him, and a G63 isn't super light.

Then it sounds like Raquel was shot first, then Will, who was shot in the back. If a guy puts a gun in your face and robs you you cannot shoot him as he flees. You can never justify shooting someone in the back, even if a gun were present.

From the info out there it sounds like Hayes is 100% the aggressor, just do not get why he stayed at the scene.

Well, Napolean, it is not obvious at al Hayes smashed the Mercedes intentionally

There are skid marks from the Hummers tires before the accident...

The defense attorney was acting like he is going to prove a lot of what u said is false.

I believe that he is disputing that fact according to his lawyers recent, was following and something caused him to hit him. Lawyer implied there was video of this.

again this is disputed according to his lawyer (raquel being shot by his client first / intentionally.

which is what is puzzling about all this to me. To top it all off the lawyer seriously implied he had evidence of crime scene tampering. Could just be smoke and mirrors, but who knows at this point.

are you familiar with that area? You don't get that much speed between the turn and Hi-volt coffee. The wreck happened right by the high-volt coffee, he accelerated quickly and intentionally hit the Mercedes.

Crazy how the whole "ramming" thing has just been picked up as 100 percent a fact. Pretty conceivable to me there was some fast reckless driving going on that ended up in a pileup.
