re: Small talk while you're getting your hair cut

The two ladies I go to are quick and are usually chatting with each other rather than the customers. Sometimes when they're both cutting hair they'll talk to their customer, but usually it is just one big conversation between them and occasionally someone else will chime in. Beats the old place I used to go where everyone wanted to tell you their life story and gave you their card and asked you to request them next time. But they'd end up getting fired and not be there the next time. Place had a revolving door of stylists. The only two that remained the same were the owner and her daughter. The crazy old lady didn't mind yelling at her employees in front of everyone.

I go to a small town, still has the red and white spin thing attached on the outside of the building by the door, barber.
It has your regular old men who go there once or twice a week just to gossip. If there was ever a time when you wanted to play a football card every week, it might have been and still might be, but its "for entertainment purposes only" and from what I understand, while it is illegal, if someone is a bookie and they report their earnings and pay taxes on those earnings, its possible its not that big of an issue. I don't really know the details, but its headquarters for anyone who use to like to be entertained by such activity.. So its constant conversation going on..
But I have been to the hair cut place by Target on Siegan a few times and there was a bit of an awkward moment where I was just relaxing, getting my hair cut and the the barber was just trying to lob out different topics as if she was saying "there has to be something that will get you to talk to me"..

Chick who cuts my hair is getting married in March, I'll probably start hearing about it next time I see her.

I don't allow it and I make it known before the cut. If the girl is hot, though, she is allowed to rub her boobies on me. I make that known too.

I haven't been to a barber since I was 16.

Same woman has been cutting my hair for 16 years. It's no longer small talk but actually an enjoyable convo.
I dread when she's not there because it is awkward as hell with another.

I don't pay to have small talk made to me while getting a cut. I pay to have the stylist's genitals pressed against me while I'm in the chair.
(And before anyone gets triggered, my stylist is a male.)

Anyone feel the same?
I either start complaining about my ex-wife or casually say "I have cancer".
This works most of the time.

Looked like a knife wound on his neck...
The Independent interviewed Bourriague Monday by phone, her voice cracking several times as she related Lavergne's last visit to her salon on June 20 and the plans the two made for what would have been their first date when he returned from his offshore job. Bourriague says Lavergne was not a regular customer. Over the past three years she estimates she cut his hair five times.
"He did call me the night after I cut his hair on his way to Venice. He had been calling me," she says. "He called me numerous times on his way to Venice that night."
"He said, I'll call you in two weeks when I get back in. Maybe we can do something.' Well, the day he was expected to come back was the day he got arrested."

I get my hair cut at the same place for over 20 years. Old men. They say whatever. We were talking about the DMV and my barner says "It worked better before they let *n-words* run the place, they mess everything up and then ask for a raise and claim discrimination. "
I was shocked at that, furthest I've heard them go.
Then we talked about Michael Yenni and how he should give up his name.
Then got into a debate on whether people actually liked Trump or just hated Hillary so much.
typical barber banter.
