A married teacher today pleaded not guilty to having sex with a male pupil when he was 15. Deborah Lowe, 53, was arrested on July 17 after she was reported for allegedly sleeping with a 15-year-old schoolboy at the school where she worked in Greater Manchester.
She is alleged to have groomed the teenage boy after becoming ‘infatuated’ with him.
The mother-of-two, from Poynton, Cheshire, appeared at Manchester’s Minshull Street Crown Court today and was supported by her son.
In her preliminary hearing, the court heard that Lowe accepted having a sexual relationship with the teenager - who is now 17 and cannot be named for legal reasons - after he left school.
Today she denied two counts of sexual intercourse with a child and three counts of abusing a position of trust with a child under 18 with sexual contact and kissing.
Lowe faces trial next April with the alleged victim giving evidence via videolink.

Here's how you tell if it's "Legit". If half the responses are yes and half are no, then it's legit. If there's only one weirdo in the whole thread who would, then it is definitely "Not Legit".
