How'd they get such a weirdly specific range?

Storms on Lake Pontchartrain have been dangerous for at least 3,500 years.

The large mounds off the Lower East Pearl (Mulatto Bayou) date back to this period. May have been from these people.

Probably got killed on a street named after a tribe. Especially since there were no states or presidents yet.

From which baby killing, scalping, murderous, non farming Indian tribe was it?

I found a YouTube channel called Unworthy History. Most of the stories come out of a book called “Indian Depredations of Texas.” It was written in the late 1800’s and really shows how ruthless and deceptive the natives were.

Not my area of expertise, but if I had to guess, the analysis spit out something like 1,569 BC with a confidence interval of plus or minus 65 years.

How do they know she’s female, she might have been trans, but couldn’t afford the treatments. They don’t know its preferred pronouns either. Appears to be shoddy science to me.

The real question here is what did the fossil identify as?

Cause i know we are not about to grossly misgender the fossil
