I ended up down a youtube worm hole recently and found a compilation of people falling form ski lifts. Insane how many times there are incidents on these things. Enough for a very long video. And that's just the ones somebody thought to whip their phone out for.

After this video on Reddit I went down a catastrophic failure rabbit hole. This happens more than you would think. I finished it up with commercial airline crashes.

That whole scene is just insane! How in the hell does something like that even happen? It's almost the equivalent of an elevator with no safety brakes just plummeting to the ground. WTF?!
