When I’m eating clean, usually spend about 350-400 a month on groceries and another 100 on supplements/protein shake for breakfast.

I spend like $250-$300 on my food every month for meals at home. No snacks, no sodas, no junk.

Not much steak either.

I kill about two deer a year and usually stick to strip or flank steak to keep fat down. I eat probably 8 lbs or so of steak a month

I buy in bulk and if it’s on sale I’ll buy a shite ton. Flank steak can be had for about $6 a lb at Sam’s on sale

About $500. But I make my Publix grocery list on whatever is BOGO. I’m retired end of the year so I gotta watch my spending. The grocery prices have been insane last few years.

With prices now a days you can't get out of grocery store for under $300@trip ...got 3 or 4x a month. Just for 2 people and dinners out another $1200-1500. We don't even drink.
so low end $2100 higher end $2700

We spend over a $1K a month eating out but dinner typically cost $80-$150 each time. It is ridiculous.

Unfortunately my wife and I do this as well. We usually only eat out on weekends but it adds up. $150 for a decent dinner out is pretty standard these days......

Having said that it's what we really enjoy doing. It's our hobby. I don't mind spending $1,500 a month combined on our number one hobby/enjoyment.

Dang baw, at least keep some decent white wine chilled for the ladies, and 2-3 of those pre-made charcuterie board dealies.

Cooking for one is difficult on the frugality scale.

No, it’s difficult on an “I don’t want to eat the same meal 5 days in a row” scale. It’s still WAY cheaper, just way less variety.

My family of 4 spends over 2k/month at the god damn grocery store alone.

Not including eat out.

I’m starting to think I’m doing something wrong.

There are tons of fat arse Latina women and gold digging Eastern Euros where I live.

I’ve a hierarchy for taking out these sluts. Normally I’ll do 1-2 dates a week, if I can get out of there under $200, I’m thrilled.

Depending on what type of slut selfie videos they send me matters most when I choose what level of eatery and cost I incur.

All that being said, on dates in probably averaging $1500 a month, which is probably still cheaper than a wife…but then I cook for myself when not fricking.

OP asked how much in groceries and going out. The wine when I go out is what drives up the weekly total

Oook. That makes a lot more sense lol. You said $350-$500 and I couldn't figure out how any single person could spend more than my family of 5 on groceries.

$1k a month is a good budget if you want to eat quality, healthy food. Problem is that you’re likely spending that on junk

If you live in any decent sized city, there are high end grocery stores with gobs of prepared sides. Literally all you have to do is cook a fresh protein with it. I bet you could get a weeks worth of dinners like chicken, pork loin, filet, halibut, salmon, scallops, etc, for $200/week, sides included.

We have 2 adults and a teenager and spend probably $700-800/mo at the grocery store.

I'm not sure what we spend eating out. My wife and I both eat out for lunch a day or two per week, usually get takeout on Fridays for dinner and maybe have one sit down family meal in a restaurant per month.

on groceries and eating out?

I'm in the 800-1000 range. Depends on where I'm eating out. I cook a few times a week, mainly breakfast or lunch. I don't care for leftovers. I do filtered water and try not to drink any calories.

I've been out of state for work the past two weeks. So I'm tired of eating out now. But all meals are in the $20-30 range. I don't feel the need to go cheap with an expense account covering it..
