I live near downtown Dallas and pay $1,140 plus utilities. I am moving next month and it’ll go down to $1,025.

I don’t rent but I know the younger crowd in my office (Houston) pays $1200-$1500+ for one bedrooms, depending on what area of the city they want to live in. Two bedrooms seem to be around $2000.

A couple of miles away from downtown Asheville, NC, I'm paying $970 for a 1/1. Downtown, with a parking deck, it's about twice that.

If you’re trying to save up for a house, I’d strongly consider a roommate. Baton Rouge Rent is pretty high.

I'm single and I bought a house. It doesn't cost that much more than renting.

This, it does suck when shite breaks though. I miss renting and not giving any fricks.

I liked spanishtown when I lived in BTR. Right next to the capital and neighbors are really nice. Could walk to 3rd st and mathern's was convenient for groceries. Paid 625 for an apartment

You let HG and Truckyard take all of your money?

I actually despise HG lol.

Truckyard, Blind Butcher and Wabi House are my fav spots around here. Rapscallion is really good too.

HG has that badass view, but their cocktails are weird. Pretty good food though.

HG Supply sucks IMHO. Drinks are way too pricey, and it's the same thing every time.

True. I usually just go to Milo's cause it's close and cheap.
