I bought a set of Michelin tires for my truck to avoid La sales tax

Also a range top, two large TVs and various household goods.

What are your biggest Amazon purchases?

Couldn't have just put this in the other Amazon tax thread started this morning?

Probably a laptop. But I'm living in Texas so I was taxed anyway.

I got a free TV from Amazon once. Bought a black Friday set that arrived with a dead spot in the corner. They exchanged the TV but when I returned the other one they credited my account. Guess I'm a pos for not telling them but the free $900 TV was too good to pass up

Not sure how you can be a POS for this when this thread is a memorial to tax cheats.

Not my most expensive but certainly the weirdest. Saved over $1000 from what the local plumber wanted for the same unit. Rennai Tankless Water Heater

no, the La Incvome ATax return gives you the opportunity to report all your online purchases that you did not pay sales taxes on, and to pay the taxes then. Presumably everyone on the OT is honest and pays them then.

You seem to have a special dislike for tax avoidance

Oregon has no sales tax and Washington has no income tax. The people that really make out are the people that live and work in Vancouver, WA, and come over to Oregon to do their shopping.

I ship most of my amazon purchases to my mom's house and all big purchases are bought in Oregon.

I bought a new hood for my riding lawnmower from Amazon. Not the most expensive thing but physically the biggest.

By weight, some bookshelves. Nice to get free shipping on 100lb delivery.

By size, bulk toilet paper. That box was huge.

By price, only $416.
