I spent $1100 in 1 day last week.

Give Wayfair a try. That company has the best customer service I have ever had. Big items ship free. No tax (yet).

You seem to have a special dislike for tax avoidance
I hate taxes. We pay too much money in taxes, and I'm 100% for legal ways around paying taxes. However, as long as the taxes exist, I dislike those who cheat the system.
I'm a huge Amazon shopper, but they've enjoyed an unfair competitive advantage over local options who have to collect sales taxes. I appreciate this policy change that levels the playing field from a tax standpoint. I want vendors to compete for my business on price, quality, customer service, etc., not because they're complicit in tax schemes.
