Is alabama no longer viewed as a bunch of toothless goat rapin inbreds?

Short answer, yes

Gays can't reproduce... No more inbreds

Golfer they need to change that sign to " Roll gay pride"
Eta: derp I thought his sign said roll tide.
I guess the sign insinuated that anyway.

No, it hasn't changed the view of Alabama. Many of those fighting against gay marriage claim that if allowed, what's next....people marrying animals? Fortunately for Alabama, they have already gotten used to the lovemaking to animals part, so gay marriage might actually be a step in the right direction.

I immediately dismiss a person who holds an opinion like that about any state, it only proves their ignorance.

Explain to me how the US government can invalidate an Alabama Constitutional Amendment for a right that is clearly defined under the tenth amendment as being a sates right.
For context, I don't care either way.

Your state government rejected it which is probably worse PR wise.
And one of the most affluent and diverse cities in your state had a cop beat an elderly Indian man into paralysis on his morning neighborhood stroll because he wasn't white and couldn't speak English.

More acceptable for gays to marry than sibling to marry, imho.

You still have this many counties refusing to issue licenses to gay couples, 52 out of 67 counties. Gray is for gay marriage.

Limestone County is complying? Holy frick. Go home!

You were on the verge, but your already-once-defrocked-and-then-re-elected Supreme Court chief justice preserved your reputation as one of the most, if not the most, backward and stupid states in the country.

This was the same argument used against interracial marriage.
Reasons being:
Full faith and credit.
Equal protection under the 14th amendment.
Every American should enjoy the same civil rights in all corners of the country going all the way to the heartland and back.

I thought Mobile County opened their probate office?

How you know about limestone county? How do you view limestone?

Now Alabamians can legally marry their same-sex siblings.
The last hurtle remaining for the Gumpers is to protect the "special love" that always occurs there between a father and his daughter, as seen in the recent Hollywood Blockbuster "Forrest Gump".
No more "Jennie, you get back here!"
