I was just coming in here to say this exact point. I don't support gun control, and I don't really give a shite about inner city gang bangers killing each other. I usually don't even finish reading the headline because I care so little.
But yeah, what you said is valid. All of our family member are sweet little angels. They'll never be killed by a gang banger near the bus station. But they absolutely could be killed in a mass shooting. Slim chance, very. But still larger than them being caught in gang related drive by.

He wouldn't be inferring, he would be implying. You inferred.
Take it however you want, but there is a lot of crime in inner cities. Shocker.

what kind of murders do you think happen in the inner city? Random acts of violence?

Sure, there’s more crime. He said victims of mass shootings are innocent and unaware. There are a shite ton of victims that live in these inner cities that are also innocent and unaware. It’s a stupid conclusion to draw.

It's the undiscussed truth to gun violence, but since it doesn't fit the agenda of the mass media, you don't hear much about it.

I would wager 60-65% of those killed in the inner cities had nothing to do with gang bangin, drugs, or had killed some one themselves in past.
A lot of innocents die to drive by's and gun play in the inner city

Regardless of how you agree with his point, you called him racist when he mentioned nothing of race.

I didn’t call him racist. I said the post was a tad racist. Suggesting that inner city crime doesn’t have any innocent victims because they “live by the sword” is a tad racist. Sorry you disagree

Generalization? Maybe. Racist? Nah man

Can we walk and chew gum at the same time? Then why can't we also work towards fixing the inner city and on mitigating mass shootings?

The first step to both is stop with knee jerk emotional responses and actually address the problem. That’s yet to happen. Emotional responses are easy. Real solutions are hard.

So your position is that since a handful of cities have bad murder rates, that mass shootings are no big deal?
