Some Dr's just hate Midlevels.

He may be one. The female thing is probably just an excuse. I mean >50% of his office staff had to be female and now all of a sudden he can't work with an NP

I initiated this policy in my office in 1995..meeting with female, office door open and secretary in the office..saved my arse on one occasion.

HOw stupid are you? Did you not read? Says the Doctors wife, made him quit because she was a fatty and jelly. Last I checked the men wore the pants in the middle east, no questions asked.

Doc was probably some white cuck.

Then he should not have hired one in his office. Illinois is not a true independent practioner state. I'm thinking the NP is attractive and his wife went ape shite.

Well ole Mike actually goes on out to dinner with other women... he just brings his wife with him. Makes that seems like it's a bit more alpha than beta

It’s somehow both Alpha and Beta

-Being afraid of wife: Beta
-Being weak willed: Beta
-Being a man of principals: Alpha

We have a couple of attractive account managers and if I deal with them someone else is always in the room and I try to conduct any correspondence through email only because one already tried to me too one of the millwrights when she was pissed off at him but luckily I witnessed the whole thing and told HR the correct version of what happened.

That’s a bit of a stretch.

you can call me a beta cuck all day. i'm not putting myself in a position to get #metoo'd under any circumstances.

women are suffering in the workplace because of men rightfully being scared shitless.

I doubt he hired her and I doubt its "his" office.

He's a cog and didn't like a NP being shoved down is throat.

Apparently Pence won't meet with a woman, other than his wife, alone.

Me too, it's a good policy. I had a woman at work about five years ago ask me to rub her shoulders. There were other people around on the floor so I don't think it was a come-on or anything. But my reply to her was "Sorry, I don't touch women who aren't my wife." She seemed put off by my response. Oh well.

I cannot imagine any physician not having a say of any level practioner that will see patients in the same office, let alone a mid-level.

Actually smart, can't be set up in any way.
You never know these days if you are being set up.

Who needs a doctor when you can have a female nurse practitioner prescribe a z pack for everything?

Likely.

You're right if one's dealing w/ a situation where the mid-level is an employee of the Dr. OTOH, that's frequently NOT the situation.
