It honestly is pretty fricking annoying, and really distracts from the person speaking.

These morons apparently forgot that we’ve had closed captioning for decades and deaf people are perfectly capable of reading. The interpreter thing is completely idiotic and annoying simply for the fact it’s completely useless.
We have roughly 28 million people in this country that have some kind of hearing impairment. Around 2 million of those folks are legally classified as deaf.
