Just for that you will probably get sick now.

This is so stupid. I get wanting to hold on to the time, but I've never understood the guys that just stockpile it and refuse to ever take any of it. I work with a guy that says he doesn't get paid when he takes a day off because he refuses to take a vac day. One or two days of sick leave isn't going to deplete your stockpile of PTO.

I don't mind when people come to work sick. Just gives me an extra reason to avoid interacting with them. I especially like it when it's the person in the office next to me, because then I can close my door all day.

You are a piece of shite. We had 200 people out the last few weeks with the flu because a couple of wannabe badasses wanted to come to work sick and prove how tough they are. I don't get sick so I wasn't in that group but they tell us if you're sick stay home. Rather have a couple people out now than contaminate half the plant because you're an a-hole and won't just take a couple days off. Congrats on being a dick, dick

If his company sucks enough to not offer unlimited sick days, then frick them. I wouldn't burn a PTO day to sit at home with the sniffles either.

We are not offered "sick/personal days" they say that is what the PTO is for. I'm just not going to take a "vacation" day and be sick. I brought my pharmacy with me. I'll be fine for a few hours. Can't say the same for the rest of my infected coworkers...

HIV is only spread through direct contact. Unless you cut an artery or orchestrate an orgy, they'll be fine.

Sorry about your AIDS.

You might want to check in to a hospice, sounds like you could use some palliative care.

My company doesn't even track PTO. I supposedly get 28 PTO days every year, but I never have to report them or anything. I just tell my boss when I'm taking some time off.

called my boss this morning and told him I had a cold - he said "you don't have a cold, you have fricking coronavirus! stay home, and drink a shite load of Coronas!"

I love my boss. Unfortunately, I didn't take his advice, and came into work anyway

We had a guy that used to do this. Said he had to save his sick time for when his kids were sick.

Got so bad, we told his boss, send him home or the rest of us are going home. I don't want his nasty germs.

Kind of dick move, but I admire your contrarian spirit. Would consider an up vote, depending on the kind of work and the kind of sickness...

Honestly the problem is that some people just don't know where to draw the line. I've had plenty of mornings where I'm on the fence about calling in and I massively regret my decision to go to work later on in the day. Same thing the other way, where is feel terrible and call in, but come to find out it really wasn't as bad as I thought.
