I agree. I’ve still got a 20-round box my dad bought me when I was 13. I’ve killed 6 people so I still have 14. I won’t need another box for several years.

I have an ammo stash but it was built over the last few years and was more out of curiosity than thinking I need a doomsday stash. I just like seeing how different ammo shoots thru the firearms I have.
That being said about all you can find in stores in my area is birdshot and target rounds.

I keep 4 three clips loaded for all my guns.
And then have probably around 500-700 rounds of 9mm, .40, .45 and 5.56 stored.
Why...so when I want to go ahoot I don't have to go find it at a store.

Well about all I can do while isolating is go to the outdoor gun range I'm a member of. Plenty of social distancing there.

Yep. Easy. I can put 200 rounds through my pistols in an hour at the range after work. THAT'S why I buy in bulk. If I want to practice and really know how to safely use my weapons (safe on my end of them at least) it's cheaper and easier to just buy it 1000 rounds at a time when I still have a few weeks' worth left.
