I don't really know why, but I just feel like something bad is gonna happen.
It may be because something bad always happened when we met up at a gas station like that.

If that is the raceway on 70th that store was set up to try to catch I-49 traffic going south before it got to Bert Kouns. Can you imagine some tourist driving through Shreveport in deciding to get off to get gas at that station? It is clearly not some gas sale as a guy sitting on the roof of his car.

Most business owners do not want to party going on in their parking lot.

Why would anyone want to meet up at a gas station have a party?

looks like East 70th, no?

Hearne Avenue seems like the better guess.

Why are y’all such judgmental assholes? Talking shite about a group clearly gassing up before they head out to work at 4am?

Can’t win with y’all.

Looks like the first night of the LSU-S Neuroscience and Neurophysiology conference was a success.

When I was 16, we met up at the McDonalds parking lot some nights.

I got off I20 to get gas somewhere outside of Birmingham about a year ago and pulled up to a similar situation at a CircleK.

I busted a U-turn and hit the next exit. It was about 1 am and I had the wife (no pics) and two kids in the car. Just wasn't worth it.

Shreveport would rather be in Texas.

If you’re a tourist heading south down I-49 you’re taking 220/3132 and not driving past that station on 70th.

Okay, I'm gonna need some backstory about why the Racetrak is the place to be.

ETA: Pardon me. Raceway.

What is that at pump 16 exactly?!? Matching rainbow wig, mask and shirt??

And.... more importantly, this picture illustrates why we're fricked as a country. Think this is going down in Germany or China tonight?

We should offer to sell Shreveport to any bidder.

Or pay to give it away (a much more likely scenario).

I didn’t need those pics to come up with that idea.

I’d gladly become part of Texas.
